TaxiPOS Pilot FAQ

Is TaxiPOS already working?

Yes. TaxiPOS is a working application currently operating in an active pilot with licensed taxi drivers in Aruba.

Who can request to join?

Taxi drivers in Aruba may submit an interest request. Participation remains subject to Miriad’s review and approval.

What phone is required?

The current pilot requires a compatible Android smartphone. NFC capability is required for Tap to Pay.

Why is NFC required?

NFC allows a compatible Android device to support the current Tap to Pay contactless payment workflow.

Is TaxiPOS available for iPhone?

Not during the current pilot. iPhone support is coming soon, but no launch date is being promised.

How do approved drivers get the app?

TaxiPOS is distributed through the controlled pilot. Pilot access and installation instructions are provided directly to approved participants.

Does Miriad provide the taxi ride?

No. TaxiPOS provides technology and workflow tools. Transportation is provided by independent licensed drivers.

Will I enter tax or banking information on this form?

No. The public pilot form collects only your name, phone or WhatsApp number and email address. Any later onboarding requirements are handled separately through an approved secure process.

How do driver payouts work?

Payout setup is completed separately after TaxiPOS driver activation. Once your approved payout method is ready, eligible earnings can be released.
